Agreement to These Terms
By downloading or using Planted, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Colby Corcoran ("we," "us," or "our"), the developer of Planted.
What Planted Does
Planted is a personal daily reflection app. Each day you enter a word, verse, or short phrase — something that feels meaningful for the day ahead. The app uses that input to generate gentle push notifications throughout your day: questions, scriptures, and prayers that help you carry that word with you.
The reflections are generated using a language model. They are offered as personal encouragement and contemplation, not as professional spiritual, psychological, or medical advice.
Free Trial & Subscriptions
Planted offers a 14-day free trial upon first install. After the trial period, continued access requires an active subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment terms. Annual subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.
We do not have access to your payment information. All billing is handled entirely by Apple.
Acceptable Use
Planted is for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse-engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.
Intellectual Property
The Planted app, its design, and all associated content are owned by Colby Corcoran. The words and phrases you enter remain yours. By using the app, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process your input solely for the purpose of generating your daily reflections and notifications.
Disclaimers
Planted is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available or error-free, or that every reflection generated will resonate with you. AI-generated content may occasionally be imperfect or unexpected — use your own judgment.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Colby Corcoran shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Planted. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as the app evolves. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect when they were last changed. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
